CAROTID BLOCKAGES IN PATIENTS WITHOUT SYMPTOMS
Study comparing stenting vs surgery for treatment of carotid stenosis (narrowing) in patients not having symptoms.
PATIENT REQUIREMENTS
- Male or female
- Ages 18-80
- Documentation of carotid stenosis in past 60 days
BLOCKAGE BELOW THE KNEE
Study to determine ability of stent to open arteries in the lower leg.
PATIENT REQUIREMENTS
- Male or female
- Ages 18 - 90
- Stenosis (narrowing) in leg artery below the knee
- Open sore on leg with stenosis
LEG ARTERY BLOCKAGE
Study to determine ability of new guidewire technology to cross completely occluded leg arteries.
PATIENT REQUIREMENTS
- Male or female
- Ages 18 or greater
- Blockage of leg artery that cannot be crossed using standard techniques
PATENT FORAMEN OVALE (PFO) IN PATIENTS WITH MIGRAINE HEADACHES
A study to determine if closing a PFO in patients with migraine headaches reduces the number of migraines.
PATIENT REQUIREMENTS
- Male or female
- Ages 18-60 years
- Documented history of frequent migraines
- PFO present
