CAROTID BLOCKAGES IN PATIENTS WITHOUT SYMPTOMS

Study comparing stenting vs surgery for treatment of carotid stenosis (narrowing) in patients not having symptoms.

PATIENT REQUIREMENTS

Male or female
Ages 18-80
Documentation of carotid stenosis in past 60 days

BLOCKAGE BELOW THE KNEE

Study to determine ability of stent to open arteries in the lower leg.

PATIENT REQUIREMENTS

Male or female
Ages 18 - 90
Stenosis (narrowing) in leg artery below the knee
Open sore on leg with stenosis

LEG ARTERY BLOCKAGE

Study to determine ability of new guidewire technology to cross completely occluded leg arteries.

PATIENT REQUIREMENTS

Male or female
Ages 18 or greater
Blockage of leg artery that cannot be crossed using standard techniques

PATENT FORAMEN OVALE (PFO) IN PATIENTS WITH MIGRAINE HEADACHES

A study to determine if closing a PFO in patients with migraine headaches reduces the number of migraines.

PATIENT REQUIREMENTS

Male or female
Ages 18-60 years
Documented history of frequent migraines
PFO present
