John George, MD, FACC

Dr. George received his medical degree at St. George's University School of Medicine in Granada, West Indies, in 1986. His residency in internal medicine was from 1986-1989 at the UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School in Hackensack, NJ. His fellowship in cardiology was completed at the University of Pittsburg St. Francis Medical Center in Pittsburg, PA between 1989-1991; he was a Chief Cardiology Fellow from 1991-1992.

Dr. George's areas of expertise are in Interventional Cardiology, STEMI, and Pacing. He is interested in new investigationsal cardiology devices and during his career he has already authored many articles published in peer-reviewed journals. He has also participated as a Principal Investigator (PI) in major heart-related research trials.
