Kenneth E. Saland, MD, FACC

Dr. Saland received his medical degree at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1993. Here he received the Oliver Cardiology award for excellence in cardiology research. He completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in cardiology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas in 2000. And then went on to complete an interventional cardiology fellowship at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland in 2002.

In conclusion, Dr. Saland is board certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular disease, and internal medicine. His advanced training in complex coronary interventions, includes intracoronary balloon angioplasty, stents, brachytherapy, intravascular ultrasound and peripheral vascular disease. He has advance training in Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (CT). And, is a member of the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (SCCT). Furthermore, he is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Lastly, Dr. Saland is named among the top doctors in Dallas by D Magazine.
